Eagles here because I'm a Sixers fan, lol.

Going back to Last Dance and about Jordan being likeable, I had no big issues with anything I saw in the first two episodes. I think he should have supported Pippen re contract but I can't think of any franchise player that has done similar when a player is trying to get a contract renegotiated (can't even think of an instance of it happening in the NBA).

Given the Bulls were blown up after that season and they let Jordan retire, I'm not sure he'd have been successful anyway.

Rodgers may be 36, but he has an absolutely berserker contract in place for at least the next two years.

Succession planning I get, but a first and a forth round pick seems a big price to pay when they have no immediate positional need.

But, as a Bears fan, I'll not lose sleep if the Packers are burning picks - Christ knows the Bears have done it for long enough!

Paul N - It's really only a fourth given the first round picks were swapped. Still odd but I don't think the price is that high.

Back a couple of pages I like Cam Newton. He’s a Bolts kind of player too - exciting and occasionally disastrous. See conversation a few weeks ago when we all admitted to (a) liking Fitzmagic and (b) being relieved he didn’t play for our teams.

Loving the Last Dance conversation even if I haven’t seen it yet. By the time the lockdown is over we’ll probably have a separate NBA wire - and possibly even an MLB one :)
