Here's one for people who really are just waiting until it's time to clock off ;-). The Bank Of England has published a set of free lesson plans, intended to help 11-16 year olds make informed decisions and understand how their decisions will influence the economy. Bank chief Mark Carney also wants to demystify the workings of the BOE and to draw a wider range of people into the study of economics. Based on this, the Financial Times has put together a short quiz: ig.ft.com Have fun :-). |

Hmmm, 7/8. In idle moments I have thought that I would like to get a degree (having left school at 18 after a less than sparkling performance in my A-Levels); it would probably be something like Economics, or Politics, or something based around an interest in anthroplogy / geograpy / statistics. |

Increased demand, price goes up, lower demand, price comes down scarce product, price goes up, too much product, price comes down. Give me that degree. I'll do the quiz now. |

My result says I'd be packed off to do at least a GCSE course before thinking about a degree.

I got 7. I disagree with them about the one I got wrong.
