Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I love this idea.
Can't think of anything for today but from tomorrow will find some new things (large or small)

Took 3 of my runners on the new route tonight - it was ace - they did very well (it's quite undulating) but we lost the quick ones ;)
In the office we've challenged ourselves to find new healthy snacks to share - someone had quinoa crisps today - they were .... strange!

I've had an idea...
Every day someone (me, today) picks their favourite new thing of the day and posts it. Something that they think might be worth a go, or just something that caught their fancy. I like a bit of fancy.

I will make a group and put the 'things' in the notes.

After the manner of Book Groups the picked (pick us boss!) becomes the picker, and chooses something from the following day.

Today's is not a thing I'm about to try but I doubt anyone can better it for sheer individuality.

Stand up becca7, and your lunchtime contribution.... (see page 2)

'Turns out that I didn't even need to think of one today. My first ever visual migraine, not painful, just a trippy crescent of rainbow coloured lines that appeared for about 20 minutes, left of centre vision. Some people would pay good money for drugs to produce the same effect.'

Picked THINGS can be practical, jolly, inspiring, just plain weird like today's ... or whatever.

What do you think?

I don't mind if no-one likes the idea.

I am dead tough and can handle rejection.

It might be quite hard for other people to try that though... :-)

Today I went to a cupcake decorating class with my not-Goddaughter. Which is the first time we've done something special with just the two of us. We made a Pepa Pig cupcake (she's 3).

Late to the party but I'm in.

Today's new thing was working from home for the day. 8.00-17.30 via Skype with a consultant and mentor I've been working with for about 9 months. Most productive day ever!

I've been doing Headspace since the start of the year and, like Red Squirrel, it's been life-changing for me. It's the first thing I do when I get on the bus in the morning. Not always easy but then new habits often aren't. :-)

You're doing it on the bus as well? I did find that almost impossible due to the extreme bus shake.
