I've got another thing actually: my work have supplied me with an iPhone and I'm going to get to grips with the bloody thing and try to use it to its full(er) potential.
So far this has meant putting Headspace on it but it's early days.

Yep. I'm so into the habit of doing it on the bus that I find it difficult to sit elsewhere and do it
It takes perseverance and some days are trickier than others but it really does get easier to not be distracted by the movement and sounds.

I think it would be nicer to be less distracted by stuff but the buses they send currently have the suspension of 1950s Lithuanian tractors

I'm very late to the party, hope there's room for one more! i am going to learn a new word everyday until Easter. There's a big fat dictionary out there full of weird and wonderful words, waiting to be discovered by me!

What a delightful idea, Scran. I hope you'll share at least a few of your favourites. How will you choose.? By opening the dictionary at random?

So on the bus today I did lesson 3 of headspace(having done the first two yesterday). And now I've done lesson 1 of Danish on Duolingo.
The Danish for 'a girl' is 'en pige'.

Yesterday I made granola from stuff I found at home. Never done that before.

I like Sharkie's idea.
I'm at a conference and have already met lots of new people. I'm going to try to eat sthg new later.

I've just booked a day-trip away on train for just me and my boy. We've done stuff, just the two of us, loads, but always had the car.
