So she didn’t. This is roughly equivalent to turning up at the start line of a 100m race and then walking the whole thing. She also had a story about a horse who was scared, and backed up until he backed into an ornamental flower pot, and then sat down on it. At least Princess Popcorn did neither of these things.)

She also spent one whole test shrieking for her best friend with me hissing ‘shut upppp’ under my breath.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
