Are these the last of the Newts?
If so, we are finishing with a newt, how very pleasing!

I couldn’t resist, I accidentally pulled him out along with some dead leaves, don’t think he was impressed 😯

Fab newt Mrs J, please can we have a pic of your pond? I looked back and found a pic of it when it was new, but it must be more established now to have so much life.

I’ll officially close the thread late tonight or tomorrow morning - until next year, of course.

Lol. Yes Sharkie, that is me with Rory.
I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a newt in real life!

I’ve struggled to keep up with the thread this year, but thanks to Sharkie for initiating and well done to all newters!

Thanks Sharkie for setting up the thread and keeping us bouncing along. It's been just lovely reading all those upbeat posts and watching spring arriving in its varied forms. I think I've managed to find a newt every day, which I'm very pleased about - it shows there are lots of good things around if we remember to notice them.

Thank you Sharkie, the lovely shiny new positivity has been a much-needed lift.
I haven't found or instigated as many newts as some of you, but just thinking about the good things that have happened in the day or what new signs of spring I have seen has helped keep the fugg away.
Thanks, Sharkie, thanks all #fetchfam

It was my first time taking part this year and I’ve really enjoyed it. My plan is to keep having a go at my wheelie technique, which would help me a lot if I’m ever going to do more gap jumps
A newt is a really fitting end too
