We were looking for ways of keeping out employees engaged and active and they’re encouraging everyone to get active at lunchtime and send in photos.
I mentioned this little group and said how uplifting it had been noticing the newts of spring so we’re looking how we can incorporate that into our workplace!
Thanks fir the inspiration Sharkie and newt gang!

High of 22c here! Crazy! I burn super easily and the sun was hot, I’m more likely to burn in April than August because you’re not used to the sun having any strength

As a redhead I should burn more easily than I do, but I am more Brimstone than Cabbage White.

It's just reached 17* here according to our weather station, but it is a sheltered spot so is probably a few * warmer in the full sun. I'm hoping to get tan lines today. I used to burn easily, then I used a sunbed for a few weeks before going abroad (about 20 years ago - I don't go near them these days) and tanned instead of burning and it has stayed like that ever since.

I used to burn badly, but now I spend more time outdoors all year I seem to keep a "baseline" - I can always see where my watch and socks were - that stops me burning. Apart from my nose at cheekbones, they seem to catch the sun whatever sunscreen I put on my face.

I used to burn to a crisp, peel and go white again. Then I lived on a sub tropical island for 5 months. Now I tan and fade. I don't go really dark, but I rarely burn any more.
Newt for today. I went for a walk in my lunchbreak. Also will be going to running club tonight for the first time since July.

That’s interesting Speedy as I went went off white pint then white after a few months living in Oman I now get a light tan that stays a while then fades. I was made to live somewhere hot I loved it.

Sat on the decking with a cup of tea in a break from gardening, judging by the noise coming from the tangle of ivy and honeysuckle behind my compost bins the blackbirds have hatched their first clutch
