We got the girls out for one of our lesser visited local walks, halfway around I suggested we tried a new path despite not knowing where it went. The girls thought I'd lost it! It was a bit muddier that the usual route but got us pretty much where we wanted to be. Can't believe we've not explored more before.

Also had a coffee and vanilla one which was lovely, and an Irish Cream one which I though may be a bit much but was also very tasty (I realise this is making me sound like one of the newts Baroness mentions, I should emphasis these were all drunk on different days/weeks)

Apparently, she loves embroidery so a win/win all round.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
