Is it me or are we noticing more of the little things and realising they are actually the big things. I’ve always noticed snow drops as my beautiful dog died when our huge amount of snow drops we had were just coming out. Then follows the daffs and crocuses. The moon I am mildly obsessed with but so many other things are coming into view this last year as I’ve had time to slow down and take notice.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
