Actually TB, Edwards' running was really poor. Both Brindle and Taylor got settled and then got out. A real shame because our bowlers really put us in a winning position.

Looks like Woakes and Kerrigan are in, disappointed there won't be any Tremlett.

Good Morning everybody, looks like a lovely day at the Oval.

Hopefully KP to miss out, i've been very disappointed by him.

Good morning lammo. Agree, disappointing for Tremmers. And I also agree re KP, I think he's been milking his knee injury.

It is indeed a lovely day, most of the spectators are in shirt sleeves.

(apart from the arseholes dressed as Mr Blobby etc)

*still doesn't know what shirtsleeves are*

Cheer up Sarrers, this is the Oval. Definitely more of a party ground than Lords. One thing I miss about no longer working in London is having a boss who got tickets for Oval tests. :(

Morning all - missed watching the last test as we were on hols in Austria, but thanks to the joys of the iplayer could at least listen to the tms commentary :-) wish I'd been able to see that fantastic spell by Broad :-(

Anyway, hoping for a 4-0 stuffing of the Aussies to make up for all the years of hurt :-)
