quite the collapse but I do hope this doesn't get painted too much as the 'TOTAL DISGRACE EMBARRASMENT ETC' result - bangladesh have got a legitimate side with a useful top six and spin department, only lacking seam bowling power now. I'd fancy them at home against almost anyone and wouldn't bet against them on dustbowls in galle/UAE, etc. 3-1 india at the bookies anyone? |

There's some money to be made in India I reckon, possibly on a white-wash

It's actually been a good series and it's a shame there's no decider. 5 Tests against India could be really embarrassing. Shame poor James Taylor had to retire; shame Ian Bell isn't on the right continent. TMS has an interview lip with Trevor Bayliss on twatter suggesting there may be batting changes. Ballance scored 24 (ave 6) on this leg of the tour. This pretty much explains why we weren't very good... stats.espncricinfo.com |

yes, a bit of thinking and tinkering needs to be done. As usual the commentators talk about bowling changes, actually the bigger problem is the batting on spinning tracks. However, as pointed out on TMS, last time Eng toured India only one pitch turned a lot, but I would think India will look at how we have shaped up and think about their pitch prep. |

i suspect the only reason Hameed didn't play in this test is that Cook wanted to take the pressure off himself by having a free scoring partner as opener. It wouldn't surprise me if he stuck Hameed at 4 on some excuse or other in India.
