I think Middlesex have been quite generous there. A more suspicious man than me might think that Yorks have agreed to chuck a couple of wickets.

Six an over for one session in good conditions on a good track? Still not seeing what was in it for Middlesex.

3 wickets down, and we know Ballance aint great. But who cares, the mighty bears avoided relegation today! To go with our nice trophy. Gee thanks Surrey, nice of you not to turn and contest it. Lancashire, similarly so today.

Yes, Warwickshire left it rather late - winning only 1x4-day game between april and early september and then 2 in the last weeks of the season to stay up was maybe cutting it a bit fine.
Willey being promoted from #7 to #3 bat and getting out quickly seems to be drawing some question marks from somerset fans.

Thriller, although slipping away from Yorks now I think.

Television can be deceptive- but it looked like there were fewer people there than there were at the ECG when we (Essex) won division two last week.
Championship cricket, I fear, will be dead in my lifetime. And I've only got 30-odd years left best case.
