Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cranes is his latest obsession. Expect a full account of all cranes on the skyline from his commentary perch.

Ian Bonham was there?

Seeing Ted Dexter on the screen reminded that our school library had a novel co-written by him called Test Kill, or Testicle as we used to call it.

yeah, he's so good he managed to con them into publishing the same novel every year under about 40 different titles ;-)

1. Good luck to Michael Carberry in his fight against Cancer.

2. Oddly disinterested in the game yesterday, not really sure why?

3. Going to be hard to win this with only 3 bowlers, time must be running out for Finn, and Ali despite the useful runs at 8.

4. I may have been wrong in denouncing Woakes as 'bits and pieces county filth' when he got the call up back in May. Delighted to say he seems to have stepped up - and multiple times since as well, good on him.

I am still in denial about Woakes. I too had him down as a county trundler who could hold a bat. If he keeps performing, I might admit I was wrong.

Last time I remember that happening was with Alec (quick 20 then slash and gone) Stewart

Poor Carbs, he's had so much bad luck with this health.
