Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice Timaru. Should have played you lot over 5 tests and used these crappy old men from Australia as the gentle 2 test warm up....

Morning everyone. Boycott was at his jingoistic and critical best yesterday on the channel 5 highliights programme -he did the opening slot with Michael Slater.
Blowers on TMS almost had an on air cardiac.

Boycott on TMS about the Clarke dismissal - "my mum wouldn't have reached that with her sweeping brush.." !

Sometimes I am surprised that Boycs doesn't get his clock cleaned live on air....of course there is banter, and on days like yesterday the Aussie part of the commentary team would have copped it, but there's something....irritating?...unpleasant? about the way Boycs goes about it.

Morning Sarrers, morning MDOTs.

Agree about Boycott, he really will get a slap one day. Trouble is, he does know his stuff...

Today? Bat and bat and bat and bat (though if fewer than 6 wickets fall on this pitch today, after 14 yesterday, I'd be surprised; it just depends on how demoralised the Aussie bowlers are!) This is probably another 280 pitch; they've grossly underperformed and we've overperformed; we'll find out how much by by stumps :) )

Boycott is brilliant. He's mellowed since his cancer IMO.

Respected all over the world as a pundit.

That was one of the most mental days play I've seen in a long, long time. Hopefully this morning will be steady accumulation to calm the nerves a bit, then a nice bit of biff in the afternoon to really rub it in, and declaring with an hour to go.

Boycs is okay but his mum is the real star of the show
