Only got to the pub (only a cranberry juice, alas) at 12.40 - was it the Queen's fault that the morning session went on 'til 1.15 before lunch? I thought it might have been a new ICC rule to combat slow over rates that you couldn't have lunch until you'd bowled at least 26 overs, no matter how long it took...
Not sure about picking Bresnan for this Test - Lords suits Finn better than most English grounds, even before you consider home advantage. I think it's a Middlesex conspiracy to rig the County Championship by gradually calling up the entire Yorkshire first XI...
