Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think you have unreasonable expectations, WS. I'll snap your hand off for "still batting at close of play".

Only got to the pub (only a cranberry juice, alas) at 12.40 - was it the Queen's fault that the morning session went on 'til 1.15 before lunch? I thought it might have been a new ICC rule to combat slow over rates that you couldn't have lunch until you'd bowled at least 26 overs, no matter how long it took...

Not sure about picking Bresnan for this Test - Lords suits Finn better than most English grounds, even before you consider home advantage. I think it's a Middlesex conspiracy to rig the County Championship by gradually calling up the entire Yorkshire first XI...

Looks like it's all down to the heroic, lordly Ian Ronald Bell...again.

Although I fear the Aussies will post something enormous when they bat, not entirely convinced of our attack after Jimmy (until day 4/5 turn for Swanny).

Concerned.
