Yep. From bad to worse.
Is it fair to say England are in transition? Young fast bowlers. Batters like Bouchier, Dunkley and Capsey still young and developing. We're currently relying on the spinners and Sciver-Brunt/Knight, but if the young players develop then we have the potential to match Australia.
The other are is fielding, but that is fixable with practice.

From the bits I've seen, they've not been consistent enough. Certainly bright, good cricket, but not enough to sustain. Whether that's inexperience / transition, or perhaps a lack of depth to match Australia, I'm not sure.

Certainly agree re consistency. You expect some inconsistency from the younger players, but we don't seem to be able to rely on our senior players either.
I think they're being encouraged to be more aggressive in their batting approach - but that intrinsically is more risky, maybe they're struggling to find the right balance (eg Nat's shot off King's first ball)

Put up a fight by the looks of it, but not enough.
Anyway, it looks like there's a good chance we're going to get whitewashed. I don't see a whitewash difference between the two sides but that's the way sport can go sometimes.

Another meek collapse today.
Suspect this tour will be the end of Heather Knight's captaincy and probably one or two of the older players.
Unfortunately it's generally the older players who have done *anything* and the younger players have looked like startled rabbits in headlights.
Can't see anything other than an Australian whitewash now.
