I'll be going to the Women's IT20 at Edgbaston again next year. Those that attended this year had a priority window before general release.

About time they faced 115 charges and a points deduction.

Talking of batting claims to fame, in the 1971 Wisden schoolboys section I had the lowest highest score of anyone qualifying for the batting (100 plus runs in the season).

The ECB has investigated and decided due to the nature of the infringements, a 25 point deduction for Everton is satisfactory.

Surrey obviously have bought in a number of internationals from elsewhere, and it's a bit like Scottish football in terms of finances (Surrey annual turnover c. £50m vs Somerset on £7m and Essex on £8m). However, it is also fair to say that they have spent a lot of money on their academy and produced a lot of England players in recent years. Essentially taking teenagers from (private) schools and turning them into England players, which I guess is what the county game is supposed to be there for. Be interesting to see whether it continues in the same vein after Alec Stewart steps down.

Yes. I’d say domestic vs international cricket almost a reciprocal of football.
