Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good to see pope getting runs. Saw the end of duckett’s innings and he seemed to be off the leash

It’s not cricket weather here but apparently the Aussies have scored 197 in a 20/20

Amazin' turn around, Gloucester 50+ for 0 then 138 all out. If you get the chance to see the two run outs, world class cricket.

It's an all southern finals day for the second year running. Surrey v Somerset semi-final again as well. I'm just hoping for a better result than last year.

That’s not a southern final. It’s a West Country one.

Yesterday, on the Fetch Cricket Whatsapp group, Greppers was questioning Duckett's methodology. We agreed to agree on "See ball, hit ball".

This morning, I must ask the same question of Harry Brook. Came out swinging like a swingy thing and never middled one until he was out. Only scored at 50 odd per 100 balls

But Harry Cheerington Brook is The Chosen One, or The Boy Who Lived, the Media Darling and Saviour of Red Ball Cricket.

The fact that he’s so milquetoast it makes my teeth itch is neither here nor indeed there.
