It looks quite evenly poised now. Of course it could swing either way quickly in the morning.

If they stay in all day tomorrow, they'll score 300+ so no need for big risks IMO. If Brook had been bowled when he made room against Hazelwood, the game would feel so different at the close, so I feel they should try and and get past Australia's score with positive but not too risky batting then accelerate later especially as bowlers be feeling the effects somewhat of a full day bowling.

I mentioned to Nico on the Fetch cricket wire that I would play on Duckett's ego and set a field accordingly. I had it short and wide outside of off with a packed gully/third man region, but it's the same thing. Play on their ego and it might cost you 20-30. It won't cost you the match. Brainless cricket from England at that stage.

Duckett doesn't see that they did anything wrong. bbc.co.uk There's a serious danger that that dressing room becomes a real echo chamber. |

If they can rattle up 600, and bowl Australia out for 50, that gives us the promised 150 run win, albeit with an innings to go with it. |

Big day tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. Plenty of drama I suspect
