Looking at those England MoM stats the better players tended to get MoM for approx 10% of number of tests played. I’m not sure what this proves exactly though. Perhaps there needs to be a new award to reflect England’s current state - least crap player of the match.

The little yellow book is really all that matters in two or three centuries of the games history.

Hard to read this and comprehend how bad it is (from BBC) The last 53 balls of that session went for no runs and cost three wickets. In 16.5 overs, England scored 23-4 and there were two dropped catches.
