You don't want Malan, YJB, Rashid or Little Willey. Keep them in Headingley where they belong.
Hales' performance not to be sniffed at...

81 all out. As the Graun OBO suggested, a result that one-sided doesn't really tell Morgan and Silverwood that much about England's individual performances, good as they were...

Can't we give them 50 overs, then only bat for 20?

Hales is unselectable due to his own actions on several occasions. So it's a moot point.
Plus whom does he replace in the T20/ODI team?
Bairstow/Roy/Malan even Buttlerfingers are all scoring runs...

If you pick on talent, Hales replaces any of them. Good job we weren't so woke back in the day, we'd never had seen any decent cricketers

So what has Hales done? My brother seemed to think it was smoking drugs two years ago.
I love Stokes. But how did he get away with beating a guy in the street and is still selected.

I've got some sympathy with that view, Cheg. An interview with Stokes slagging off Hales didn't sit right with me (I don't have a problem with the likes of Morgan doing it but Stokes is in no position to be lobbing off-the-field rocks from his glasshouse).
However, on cricketing grounds, we don't need a one-day starter. It's a pity Hales' red-ball record isn't as substantial - it'd be more difficult to resist the call to select him for the Test side if he played much first-class cricket.

Back in the day, Warne was banned for drugs, as were Ian Botham and Phil Tufnell.
Hales has managed to pick up bans four times now - absolutely no chance of him playing for England again.
