Bit that always does me is whilst our bowlers are good at exploiting home conditions our batsmen are usually worse.
Looking at the NZ tests you could only conclude that the Kiwi batsmen had the game to deal with English conditions. Do we think ‘home conditions don’t need to prepare’ or are they just shit whatever conditions.
Chances are that the Indians will adapt better in the same way as the Kiwis did.
We won’t win a test vs India or Australia. Might sneak a draw or two vs India if our pathetic over rate and the weather combine to take enough time out of the games.
I wonder if Root will still captain the side to Australia if it’s 0-4 and his form remains rank awful.
Oh and ION looks like Stone has joined Jeffrey on the ‘out for the Summer injured’ bench, leaving Balsa as the remaining quick - how long he will he last......
