And also just how obscene Bradman was once past 100. Averaged 275 in innings above 100...

I'd argue that Bradman was the archetypal 'must get early' batsman, because once in and he got to 50, he had a strong chance of going on to get 100->200->300
And falling into the folly of comparing across eras, I wonder how Bradman would have got on in today's test cricket.
Obviously he had *some* talent and he of course batted on uncovered pitches, but would the modern game and TV and analysis, plus improved player fitness and fielding have found him out more often?
A pointless musing perhaps.

Guessing Boycott will be quite low on the 200 conversion list, as his tests were not timeless and most captains would have wanted time to win the game.....

Most of the old footage I've seen of Bradman involves him pulling half trackers from 2 foot outside leg

On the 50 to 100 conversion rate and particularly for those who bat middle order so may run out of partners, do we need to think about not outs between 50 to 100 which would unfairly lower the conversion rate stats? Not sure how you account for it appropriately though

TR - yes, but if you look down the list of top 100 getters, the numbers of NOs are pretty similar for all of them.
If anything, the stand outs are usually the openers who've played in seamer friendly conditions (Cook, Gooch for e.g.) who have fewer NOs that comparables
