In other news, this was in the current Wisden Cricket Monthly. It's the England XII for the second test against Australia in 1975. I named 11 out of 12. It was 46 years ago. I was 11.

One of those players made his county debut in 1964, and had his final county appearance in 1990 - which one?

3 for me, maybe another 3 fairly decent guesses. And probably another 3/4 ‘England cricketers I know were around at the time so probably in there even if don’t recognise them’.

I only miss 16 middle back row. The cricketer has a good article by Brearly about touring India. Take 5 proper bowlers, use 3 seamers! Bat long.
