GWS Purps and Baz.

From the posts up there ^^^ it looks like the incubation period with the latest round of infections may be only 2 or 3 days now, but it's so difficult to gauge where it was caught.

I think I acquired it on a Monday, then felt poorly Thursday night when I tested first (and was positive), then was negative by the following Tuesday, with the cough / sneezing / runny nose remaining for a few days afterwards.

I may be wrong, but the person I think I probably got it from I had seen on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat, on the Saturday she had given me some paracetamol, we discussed some stuff and did backstage things at the children's drama production. Then Sunday I got the message to say she was positive. I was sitting in a field at a Texas concert - open air at the time I got the message, I went alone and stayed away from most people, but obviously you don't know.

On Sunday morning (before the concert and having received the message) I had a slightly dry throat - thought it from the busy weekend of drama stuff. Monday it was dryer, negative LFT, Tuesday at work, runny nose - thought it hayfever, then this morning laryngitis and positive. For me I think it's most likely from the drama person and could have been any one of the days I saw her. I have no bad feelings about it and it doesn't change anything.

I have just felt a bit rubbish all day, but got gradually worse as the day has progressed. I had a terrible headache around 6pm, it's eased a little now, having dozed for an hour again. Just feel a bit blah right now, tired and ick, but not like the first time I had covid, where I felt like I had been hit by several buses simultaneously! I hope it doesn't get worse for me.

Feel kind of poo. Not as poo as I did when I had it last time, but not great. Very croaky, heavy chest/hard to breathe, intermittent massive headaches, coughing in night. Wiped out. Lots of random naps

I am a bit up and down. Had a reasonable sleep but awoke every few hours with a bad sweat but got back to sleep. Had a cough when I woke up but thatโ€™s ok but does come back if I talk too much.

I also had a headache but right now thatโ€™s ok but I had a couple of paracetamol which might explain that.

The stomach cramps I had yesterday gave gone.

I have been working from home but about three times have had to take a rest as I wasnโ€™t feeling great.

Ive had a sore throat all week. Felt rubbish Tuesday with a negative lft. Severe joint pain on Wednesday which I put down to my body being unable to manage long covid symptoms and fight infection. Physio were due to see me at home today so thought id do another test for peace of mind, and there it was....positive again ๐Ÿ˜”
Feel much today than yesterday thankfully as the joint pain is not as severe...just hoping it doesnt make recover from long covid even harder ๐Ÿ˜”
