I don't like spoilers but I was already aware of some injured gladiators having read the Wikipedia page. Hence, I have been quiet on the subject and was waiting for it to be aired. The first was not shown in the past week's episode but it was apparently the show in question. The exact event was not mentioned but it involved Comet. Bizarrely, this actually happened last June. A real pity as we had not seen much of her anyway (a bit like Fire). It seems that the show are not going to mention it, so I thought I'd let you know in case you're wondering where she is. I'll keep quiet on the other as they were still fit and well on Saturday!
That's a shame, I wanted to see more of Comet - in fact I quite like all of the gladiators aside from Viper (it's all very well playing a part, but occasionally you need to win a game).

We only talked about that last night, DaveG.
Surely, they would film the same event back-to-back to save time with all the setting up and taking down involved. That would certainly make a huge difference to the total costs.
Can't understand why they did not want to show or even mention Comet's injury especially as it was already out there. The only odd thing is that there are a few online articles about it which have only just been released. I'm sure that any fans of the show will want to be kept informed.
Viper must be the only gladiator to have a zero percent winning record. Good to see Dynamite get a good win in duel and only narrowly miss out on a double in The Wall.

OK, we get the character but we don't have to hear it every week. A few of the gladiators weren't interviewed this week. Hopefully, Legend will not talk next week.
Two contenders removed from The Wall by their harness and yet another shoe comes off. I think I'd probably loosen my laces if I was doing that event.

Seeing how virtually every contender gets 10 points in Gauntlet, was it different scoring before? I seem to think that 10 points were scored if they got through in less than half the time and they got 5 points for taking longer.

A quick Google and YouTube agrees with you, it showed a guy getting through a bruising gauntlet in 20.70 seconds, scoring 5 points.

It would be better if the points you got for gauntlet was how many seconds were remaining, given that everyone completes it.
