I'm loving the idea of lawns! ChrisHB proposed feature 867, which suggests calculating the number of contiguous zones, and then Sigh brought it to life with the nickname!
I've been writing some code that will calculate your lawn size.
I'm defining a 'lawn' as being comprised of contiguous squares (including diagonals) that emanate from your home zone, and that you've explored during the last 365 days.
Here are some lawn sizes for the folks that have posted since Sigh named them lawns:
Me = 92 zones ChrisHB = 82 Sigh = 56 LindsD = 54 ITG = 154 FDNB = 164 K5 Gus = 465 (!!!) Slownold = 1 Autumnleaves = 79 57.5 Degrees of Pain = 197
I've manually counted all my explored squares, and it adds up - so if you can spare five mins to check your total, that'd be great. If you're not on the list, but want to know your lawn size, shout out

I've added your lawnsize to the Conquercise game header.

I'm due to lose lots of those soon, did a few big bike rides late September, and into October last year, but nice while it lasts

So lawn size is all shades, and not just the green bit?
56 is spot on, but I need to get Green Thumb in for 16 of them

My lawn size is 0! That can’t be right - I’ve just been for a run.

Bish - have you set a home zone? If not, view the zone you want, and look for the ‘make home’ link.

Aha, I didn’t realise that was a thing. My lawn is now a much more reasonable 72. Thanks both.

That lawn thing is nice - I re-joined VeloViewer recently for a similar experience (it also has a 'tiles' game which is like Conquercise).
My Lawn and Annual totals are nearly the same, which shows how little I've ventured beyond my local territory this year - all joined up.
