At the moment I can still get loops that yield me squares. I’m thinking if I make them increasing like lollipops I will be able to get enough squares without having to use the train.

Woke up this morning with control of a few far off squares I haven’t run in months, that’s always nice but won’t be long until my claim on them expires too

I must confess it is disheartening slightly when you log on and happen to notice that someone new has joined the game and nicked a load/few of the zones you owned :). Especially if its not close either and they have 30 runs on you now!! Oh well

I'm still enjoying the notifications popping up when I've taken control of zones in the Hebrides and Isle of Man that I ran through last year. I guess lockdown has meant 2pts is now enough. Fun to revisit those trips when I rename the squares.

Whilst you’re there CW say ‘hi’ to my Nan. She went to stay with my aunt for Christmas and hasn’t come back yet. She’s 101 - so I’m pleased she’s not trying to look after herself through this whole crisis.

Is there a notification to let you know you’ve lost control of some squares like there is for when you gain control? My number has gone down but I don’t remember seeing a notification and I’ve no idea which ones I’ve lost??

I don't think you do for ones that expire through the passage of time due to not having been visited. I think you do if you currently own it and somebody overtakes you.
