Everything in cross-training gets one point, because there are so many different types and effort levels required.

Just break into the occasional jog and then you can log it as run-walk

[I was on a strict running ban for 6 months owing to a slipped disc. Now I am making my way back with walk-runs (logged as "runs") but they are so short that it takes me longer to get dressed!]

I pretty much log everything done under my own steam, cycling, running, walking but then I'm more about finding the new zones than ownership - though as a consequence of going somewhere like the Danube, I end up owning quite a few zones as well.

The walking I log is generally not the travelling 1 mile each way to work type but the walking in the hills/trails etc type of walks. Everyone records different things though so I appreciate its hard to reflect everyone time and effort levels accordingly.

At risk of opening old wounds, this game is biased in favour of cyclists who have a much greater range for much less energy expenditure (and recovery time !)
NDW - Wear your garmin on the ship and see what you log - would be interesting !!
despite cycle commuting 60% of the time I don't log these and know that if I did I would reclaim many of the local routes that others have recently acquired !
