Maybe I misunderstand Zwift, but aren't you just hitting the same couple of zones in the Solomon Islands again and again? In effect simply competing with other Zwift users over how many times you've used the app? Or are you actually able to go off-piste in some way and explore adjacent territory and get new zones?

I'm kind of confused over Watopia - isn't that fictional? In which case it won't be on any Conquercise of Fetchpoint map.

Dvorak - example from earlier in thread here: fetcheveryone.com/game-conq-zone.php?id=1059632 Who knew this many people used Zwift?!? (Or holidayed in the Santa Cruz islands) |

If you cycle in (fictional) Watopia, the resulting file maps to a location in the Solomon Islands (Santa Cruz Islands, between the Solomons & Vanuatu.)

I don't think Watopia is much of an issue as you're only "competing" against other Zwift users. London and Richmond are more of an issue, although as pointed out Zwift isn't the only software that uses "real" places on the turbo, it's just the most well known. I do use Zwift, although only once a week and it wouldn't bother me if it didn't count - but I think it would be hard to filter them out. I'm certainly not going to stop uploading my training because I like my training log to reflect everything I've done so I can keep track of it. |

A few things now makes sense. My fetch home point is my office which is near Tower Bridge. I assumed there were loads of fetchies nearby based on bug infections but only in certain places (main roads). I put it down to people commuting along fixed routes. I wore my fetch tshirt regularly but didn’t get a single “fetchie!” Shouted at me. When I got a traffic light on tower bridge I got shedloads of points but hardly any on London Bridge even though they have similar numbers of cyclists and fewer runners. It turns out, a swift course goes past my office and across tower bridge. a lot of the traffic light capturers (the only way of spotting interlopers) are also zwifters based on the explorers of the zwift zone so my phantom fetchies were probably in a garage in Rotherham. Kind of funny in hindsight. I will now prioritise clearing bugs that are on the zwift London course... |

Ted, surely though you would still get the training entry, just not fictional conquersize or fetchpoint credits and so get the satisfaction of that. Seems a pretty odd gripe to have not getting credit for something you havent actually done - or maybe I miss the point I am just back from Gran Canaria (Arguinguin) and explored and won 7 zones. Annoyingly I stopped and turned back one day about 10m short of another zone. Interesting fact is that I seem to have been the only runner in those zones ever and I nicked the zones from El Bee who had cycled them a couple of time as well as one other cyclist who passed through One up for the runners |

Just popping in to be one on Ted's side...as I understand it, you want the be able to still play the games that you have been doing since they started and the only way you can currently do that is via Zwift. You still have to log the training, do the hard work - but you're not visiting the place(s) that are scoring you points. I hope that you can get back to being outside again soon (((()))) I also get Dave's point that you/other Zwifters - could be costing him huge bug infection points/ taking conquercise zones. not actually sure what the answer is - but it's not black and white... |

It all adds to the fun. I’m sure I have profited from zwifters going through my traffic lights too. Probably break even...
