Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

If you go to the training log page (as per nwdave's link) and then scroll down, there are a number of tabs (entries, calendar, maps, graph, summary.) If you click on map, it will display a map of all your training in the selected period, using hexagons. If you change the dates to show, for example, training in the last 5 years, it may take a long time to display. The one for my runs round the village where I live looks like this:

If your recent training was in NZ and that is not your home zone, you might need to move the map to point there and/or select different dates to display.

That's odd Ed - mine work.
Is it to do with manual vs gps plotting of route?

RH - it might be a manual vs. GPS issue... but... for a few of my routes I have copied someone else's GPS route, and that appears to make no difference. And for a lot of my routes I use the 'follow road' option, which ought to give a fairly granular set of data points.

I'm not sure 'nicked' is correct, after all, we've been playing Conquercise for years :-)

I don't think the hexagons currently work if you use routes as your trace (as opposed to a direct import from a GPS device).

I've got a few stray ones where I apparently went paddling including in Portabello (Edinburgh marathon) and off the rather steep cliffs on the coast at Genova East :)
