Interesting, most seem to be around 23-24 mins.

I was told that my 2nd claim club actually made theirs easier a while ago as they used to be REALLY tough.

Never heard of club standards. All I can see is a club records page on our website.

The person who set up our club road standards added a few extra layers so people could achieve them. For a v45 Male 5k they are:

Gold star 17:15
Gold 18:15
Silver 19:30
Bronze 21:15
Nickel 23:00
Copper 25:45
Zinc 28:30

DT - should have a club standard for the Stoop with a rider attached for it depends on just how much mud there is.

This looks very inclusive. I like it.

The Club Champs are similarly inclusive with 3 points for completing a race, two of the 12 get an extra 3 bonus points, and then there's 3 points for a PB. As it's a small club this works and it means newer / improving runners get a better chance of winning the champs.

I've got a 1st claim club and a 2nd claim club.

For me, as a 48 year male, to get a bronze 5K standard, I would need the following times:

Clowne RC: 23.26 (48 male)

North Derbyshire RC: 20:38 (45-49 category)

I was wondering if anyone who's in a club has a similar club standard award and what your time would have to be for a 48 year male?
