Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We had a table tennis, er, table at home, that folded up, we also had a 6ft Snooker table, that stood up against our bedroom wall. Dad bought it home one day, he played mini snooker more than us, but he is 5 foot 1, so proper table was difficult for the old bugger.

We've got a table tennis table at the tennis club. We've also got a pool table and a dartboard mind so I wouldn't read too much into it.

I have dartboard, have done forever. We had one at home too, in fact, our old house may as well have been a pub.

I used to frequent a boardgames forum where there was one poster who kept insisting that darts should be classified as a boardgame because 'it involves a board'. I try not to think too hard about that, it messes with my sense of order.

We have a table tennis table at the office, but two of the younger chaps are impossibly good.

We have a table tennis table in the back garden. My mother-in-law (in her late eighties) started playing a few years ago after she got too old for tennis. She plays every day and is surprisingly hard to beat, in spite of breathing problems that stop her from walking for more than a few minutes at a time.

A dartboard isn't a board in the sense of a long thin plank, or part of one, any decent one these days is a bunch of compressed fibres, so the guy on that forum, @sparklecloud , is talking out of his bullseye.
