Grep they tend to change track cycling events almost every games, it’s a subset of the full events in a Trsck WC. IOC is strict on the amount of events. The 1km TT that Hoy won once is gone, and I think Madison went too. They skew towards short events where the person crossing the line first is the winner. |

Fair enough. I go track whenever I can so consider myself a fairly literate spectator, but Madison confuses the heck out of me - so yeah, I get it. That said keirin comes with a lot of unfortunate gambling-related baggage. |

Omnium is a sort of cycling decathlon. It involves all sorts of gubbins over two days, followed by hanging a gold medal around Laura Trott/Kenny's neck.
