I do remember when dartboards in pubs that took darts very seriously were made of wood. They had to be soaked.

I thought the good ones were pig bristle?

No. I'm very clear that the best shaving brushes are made from badger hair and you can imagine my feelings on that.

Dartboards used to be made from wood, Elm, and soaked, Dad's was, not a great thing to be cutting down. They're now made of a substance called Sisal, which is from Agave, you don't soak them. Pig Bristles never happened, they were Sisal too.
