Butcher's queue at 6:45am was about 50 customers long. I was there...
(Back in bed at 7:55 though )
All veggies cooked and ready for reheating on the day, good job as the new tier 3 here from Boxing Day means we've moved out family meetup in a country park to tomorrow instead (and yes, there's > 6 of us, but as we're a family of six I'm damned if we're not seeing my parents at all just because of our fecundity!)

Went out yesterday and got our Christmas dinner food sorted. Should have been driving to Lincolnshire to have a family Christmas down there, but the Scottish travel restrictions mean we’re now staying up here. Hence a hurried food shop yesterday that luckily wasn’t too stressful 😀

MrsC went for her final ( ) swim for at least a month but came back with the that I'd forgotten to order. So I don't need to go to town tomorrow. Just wrapping presents and hopefully going to the woods with the kids.
Really hope everyone can make the best of the next few days. It'll be different (or it might not....) but it doesn't have to be crap.

Veg box from local grocer today and OH picked up the beef plus pigs in blankets. Plus 3 fresh scotch eggs. But they were still warm so one didn't make it home! 🤣 Biggest crisis so far is the lack of chicken nuggets in the tests delivery for boy3.
I'm 'it' at work tomorrow pm, but I'll cook the ham in the evening while drinking mulled wine.

I was surprised to be able to get most of what I needed when I popped tithe shops Monday evening for a couple of bits, a suprise attack on the Christmas food shop made it a much less stressful occasion!
Although I didn't have a list, and add such may have forgotten something.... 🙄

Have you tried Dalston's ginger beer Linds? It's really nice - mind you their other flavours are good too, rhubarb is a favourite of mine.
Next stress is where to put the turkey crown when it's collected - not cooking it until Boxing Day as MiL made a unilateral decision about Xmas Day <<sigh>>. Fridge space is limited normally and a little more so at the moment.
