What do you think of the course Rob? How does it compare to, say, the Blackpool Marathon and Fleetwood 1/2M courses, both of which I know are flat? I hope that there won't be any issues re parking/traffic around the start area - if I seem to recall the rugby club isn't far from the A55

John Bach - as flat as Blackpool , different scenary no sea, on drunks , but often dogwalkers, cyclists, no major problems when I ran the route yesterday, re parking see website they say lots parking on rugby practice pitches. I'm looking forward to it - how often can you run a crross internatioal boundary race! It should be the 2 countries race !Ps posted book to you today!

Marathon Lads
just to let you all know
i had'nt said about our reply
the organisers of this Andy & Chris is it ??
They have been so very kind and understanding i must say
they explained everything to me, telling me there would be a couple of tricky bits and then then as i'd call it greenway , miles of it
and they asked if i'd supply upfront an emergency CV about us should anything happen to myself, which i glady supplied
there was that i could see NO hesitation from them about us taking part, they seen us in action at Four Villages HM

Rob Thanks for that (hope you enjoyed the book)
M n P - will be great to see, and (hopefully) meet you at long last - it is not very often that I get international clearance to go across the border to run, although, as Rob says, a section of the course is in Cymru

jono, plenty of folk do marathons, week in, week out, only you can decide if the 1 week break is enough/not enough between marathons. my sensible head says i will be too buggered to run a 5k post embra, and my experience tells me the same. however.... is sensibility overrated.... *thinking cap on*

think I've got two, three weeks between mine - I will never be a back to back (to lazy), nearest collision is a 10k a week before shakespeare - but I'm just going to trundle around that...its all for charity kids.
