Well done everyone! Really enjoyed this until about mile 24-5, when I had an attack of CBA. Thanks to the South Cheshire Harrier (Martin?) who jollied me along a bit; thanks also to the 100Mara runner whose verse at the mile markers cheered me up. Greenway route was fine: nice and flat, good surface, plenty of shade, sculptures etc made up for the lack of bends. Quite enjoyed seeing the leaders whizz by and great to see Mick n Phil. Impressed with the friendly support, perfect organisation, friedly marshalls, drinks and bacon sandwiches. Hope this race goes on to be a big success.

think it will, 1st time I've ever run out and back again, better than loops me thinks - I was having a chat with a penny lane strider around about mile 23 (slagging off Liverpool council and there opposition to a mara!) it was great kept me going
