It was this type of attention to detail that attracted me to this race ![]() |

Even thou I have raced this a number of times, cant really comment too much on car parking - as I nick my sisters spot at her work :S. There are plenty of PnDs around, and it is a small city so, dont thk you will be too far from the race course.

Great advise as done haf here but wet grass not a problem. Might bring along couple bags as wet shoes would be unfortunate. Matt the brood are watching and i suspect shopping in lovely Chester. If we had been better organised might have been able to make team event. Expecting my NO from London any day. |

Yes, the forecast looks very good. I'm hoping I can better my PB set at Manchester 2012 when there was sleet, a howling gale and flooding on the course. I'm running better than then and I won't have all those hazards I hope! After feeling a bit under the weather at the start of the week I think it's starting to turn. Bouncy jog with a low HR this evening. Going to do a very slow parkrun on Sat to keep my legs loose and that's it. Hope everyone is tapering well! |

Surely there must be a local leisure centre where you could pay for a 'swim' Baz? You got me thinking though... I've just looked at there is one of my gyms (Nuffield) in Chester about a mile from the racecourse. So that may well solve my shower requirement and parking question as I'm pretty certain my membership covers all clubs. Will phone tomorrow to check! My legs might feel happier on the 2 + hour drive home if I can have a light swim and shower beforehand! |

Have you got your race booklet? There is limited shower and changing facilities in the jockeys changing rooms. There is also free use of changing rooms and showers at Total fitness as long as you have your race number. Address is in the booklet.
