Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Very interesting one, I just wasn't looking for the outcome achieved.

Not that I would have found it even if I had been!

I solved it by trial and error. Then hours later tried it again, with still the same trial and error. I was rushing too much and not thinking. Would like to watch the video.

You can watch the video on the app. The videos are good additions IMO. The thing I took away from it was looking at how much time you have to execute a plan.

Too much for me today. I've also been dropping like a stone on the rated puzzles, down to 2200ish now.

I tried to watch the video and it popped up a message about signing up for a paid account.

Can't begrudge them putting a feature like that behind a paywall.

Today’s daily puzzle seems very easy compared to the killer puzzle yesterday & has a nice zugzwang link to James’s post on the main chess thread

I'm usually fine until Tuesday or Wednesday and then start to lose my way, though it is noticeable that the starting point varies, if Monday is tough I'm in for a puzzling week :-)

Not from chess.com but may provide some amusement. White to mate in 1!
