Diogenes Feb 2022 9:49am, 18 Feb 2022 67,382 posts	0 Diogenes Whatever there's most of, or what is most urgent Sports kit (my running gear) get chucked in daily with whatever's going on (apart from the whites) to stop it festering for days. Generally only need to do a white wash once a week. If it's a wet day try to only do stuff that will dry quickly as we don't have a tumble dryer or much space to hang stuff on airers.

When the phone was fixed (ours was in the dining room??) you also knew everyones phone number, now I struggle to remember even the families numbers!!

I still remember my primary school friend Peter's land line number - I left primary school in 1993 and haven't spoken to Peter since then (we went to different high schools...) - quite why the number is still retained in my brain is anyone's guess...
