The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Just looking for a bit of shared experience...we went into our bedroom just now to see that someone (presumably feline!) had peed on the bed.
Ellie has done this a couple of times in the past if she's not happy with the litter, but that's not a possible reason - it was all clean and there was easy access to the garden through open doors.
A neighbour has (IMHO) way too many cats in a flat with no garden and one of them has escaped a few times. He tends to hang out in our garden and will come into the flat to eat our cats' food if gets a chance. Neighbour usually manages to catch him after a few days and return him to her flat.
We've seen him yesterday and today, and are wondering if he's the weeing culprit...though no idea why he would do that. I suppose the other option is Ellie if it was some kind of stress response; perhaps he was blocking her from going outside or something (though there's more than one way out, and litter boxes would also have been an option).
Whatever the reason, it's very fecking annoying and means yet another trip to the launderette with the duvet.
Who do you think was the culprit - escapee or resident Ellie?
Hmmmm... Hard to tell. Could be escapee marking his territory? Is it a tom? My neighbour's bully tom sprays everywhere, including my front door so I'd imagine he would come inside and spray. Lasya, although bullied by FOUR tom cats, hasn't responded to that by peeing outside her litter tray. She is meticulous about it and has, in the last 9.5 years, never knowingly peed outside her box. When she has a message about distress or litter, it would be a poo outside a dirty box... So yes, I suspect your neighbour's cat...
All the cat people out there know that cats love boxes, so go on then and lets see you feline friend. Boxes optional This is the cat appreciation thread along with Miaow, Purr, Yawn!
