Our kitten got out last night and we had an anxious hour while we shouted like idiots all round the neighbourhood before she crept out from under the patio, gave us a cautious glance, then dashed off to the neighbours as she had no intention of coming back in. I'll let her out in due course but not till she has been 'seen to.' Far too many young tomcats of ill repute this neighbourhood. I haven't felt such anxiety since my 3yo (now 12) wandered off in a huff about something.
