It was litter tray city at ours (3 trays) but they seemed to have a system of one for wees and one for poos and one only used if the others didn't meet their exacting standards. If there's more than one wee in a tray we are very much told to sort it. We started putting the less used tray outside when they were out to encourage going in one area in the garden and forgot to bring the tray in one evening. No mishaps or dramas so we're down to 2 trays now. We may go up to 3 again in winter when they're indoors more.

Or poke under the furniture with a stick, mouse escapes, Lasya pounces. Or: Lasya keeps the mouse in the corner under a stool while I grab it with the leather fire glove.
