Cats are shut out. Traps are set. Curtains are drawn. If mousey comes out before bedtime it will be rewarded with a swift and painless trip to the next place.

There is a cat flap downstairs, her latest obsession? Climbing in and out via the upstairs bathroom window.

This thread is currently providing more excitement than I can cope with
To add to it: there is a cat food shortage here! Several weeks already Aldi, Hereford, Ross on Wye and Abergavenny, has been out of dry food and pouches and all I have managed is 1 bag of cat litter. This morning they had just stacked the shelves so I scored 2 boxes of pouches, 4 boxes of kibble and 2 bags of litter! I wasn't allowed more, or I would have bought all 10 boxes of dry food!
Saved!!!! As there was about 2 days of cat food left in the house.

I will then have to kill one of my chickens ๐ฑ that isn't happening! She will have to catch more mice and eat them rather than bringing them in. Waitrose shelves of cat food were also almost empty! They didn't have her teeth treats!

Apparently, it is a nationwide phenomenon?
