Part and parcel of having litters of 3 or 4. There was another similar abandonment that someone else picked up a week or two earlier but didn't last long, and we know that the three tabbies we had recently (now all rehomed) were born as 4. We think this latest little one may still have siblings waiting to be picked up when they're a bit older, probably another week or two.
