Ours stop what they are doing horrified if you lean on them. They freeze. When you get up they start to clean furiously

Going back a few pages...
Hester is almost the opposite of a cuddly cat, SarahWoo. You can get the odd squeeze in when she's desperate for food but any other time to likes to remain aloof. I call her a "Lady Who Lunches" because if she get your face too close to hers she moves her head so you end up giving her an air kiss

When you put face near our cats, one will wash you and other sniff you. No freezing and generally a lot of purring.
