I did catch Chadwick on duty above a known mousehole the other night, so she is still hunting where it involves staying in the barn and sitting still.

With our duo, Trudy (younger) brings the odd mouse / bird back to the garden alive, then Mabel takes over. They don’t seem interested in eating the critter that has been caught, just playing with it.

We did manage to save / release one of the mousey victims, it played dead but wasn’t!

That is very natural behaviour of Marlinspike. Has he been done? I wonder if he has impregnated Chadwick and is feeding his unborn babies.

Peggý used to bring in snacks for Pascal and leave them outside the door of the room he was kept in at night. And by snack I mean thrushes that were bigger than him.
