Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

What is your experience of giving a pill to a cat. HK was eventually successful yesterday. I feared losing a finger! I can’t face doing this daily. Giving her the inhaler is bad enough!

Can you ask to have it as a liquid and mix it in lick-y-lik? I had to do this for lennox. She's normally pretty good but was having none of it.

Pill pocket has worked for us. Otherwise mashed in food.

Ozzy is a fussy eater so the food trick didn't work
I had to force it down! We knew when he was feeling better as he got harder to give them to
At first it was really easy!

Had a very objectionable Tilly yesterday evening- cat flap has stopped letting her in and she was outside. I was out for the evening and she shot back inside at high speed as soon as I opened the front door

Tried wrapping them in a towel and massaging their throat to swallow but it’s a nightmare & a two person job.

We’re looking at pill pockets now as she’s likely to learn how to avoid the manual method, and was pretty good to begin with. We started by grinding into Dreamy licks but she was wise to that straight away!
