well I suppose this was a cat in a box behaviour but ....
nothing says respect on Remembrance Sunday than the cat doing *the* most eye waveringly stinky poo in the litter tray in the middle of the two minutes silence. Mr Frag and I were gagging while still trying to maintain a dignified silence. bloody cats !

Hi Daisy! Gorgeous. I couldn’t foster as I’d never want to say goodbye!

That's a problem a few of the fosterers have We seem to have collected 3 over the years (two really were an accident, another recent one was a deliberate decision). But roughly 50 have been through our doors so a fairly low failure rate overall.

That sounds like a good option jda, so long as you don't succumb easily. I wish we could have a cat/cats only hubby is terribly allergic to them, so I just fuss all the neighourhood cats and take pics of them when I encounter them on my runs.

I’m firm, my wife is the soft one. I let the latest slip through as he is extremely nice and the first in about 7 years. We do sometimes talk about giving up the first two for proper adoption (technically they are still owned by the rescue).
I really enjoy the variety of having different cats to stay. Especially the troubled/wild ones that really blossom into lovely happy cats.
